Get started with Yolodex VIP Alerts in four steps

Overview

Yolodex VIP Alerts identifies celebrities and notable figures in your Klaviyo customer base and notifies your team the moment they engage or purchase. Use the alerts to add gifts and notes to celebrity orders in real time.

What you need

  • Klaviyo account with permission to approve integrations (OAuth).

  • Payment method via Stripe (usage based).

  • Slack workspace access for notifications, or email.

Step 1 - Create account and connect Klaviyo

  1. Enter your email on platform.yolodex.ai

  2. Click create account

  3. Navigate to your email and click the magic link we sent you to login

  4. In Yolodex, open Klaviyo Integration Setup and select Authorize Klaviyo Access.

  5. Choose the correct account and click Allow. Requested scopes include Events, Flows, Lists, Metrics (read) and Profiles (create/update).

  6. After redirect, the Yolodex dashboard will show Klaviyo Connected - Active with a connection date.

Security note: Authorization follows OAuth 2.0 and only the minimum required permissions are requested.

Step 2 - Run the Celebrity Analysis preview

  1. Continue to Celebrity Analysis and start the scan. You will see progress (e.g., Scanning for celebrities... 7% complete).

  2. When complete, review the preview dashboard:

    • Total celebrities found

    • Profiles analyzed

    • Last analysis details with timestamps and an Analysis ID

    • This preview helps you validate detection before turning on billing.

Step 3 - Set up billing (Stripe)

  1. Go to Setup Payment Details.

  2. Review the estimator based on recent unique customers. Example: 5000 customers x $0.03 per profile = $150.00 estimated monthly cost.

  3. Set a Warning Threshold to receive a spend warning by email.

  4. Add a payment method with Stripe and click Complete Setup.

Pricing: $0.03 per profile enriched, billed monthly for successful enrichments.

Step 4 - Enable VIP Alerts

Open Configure Notifications and choose where alerts should go.

  • Email - Toggle on. Optionally add more recipients.

  • Slack - Toggle on, complete workspace OAuth, select a channel (e.g., #vip-alerts).

  • Discord - Toggle on, complete workspace OAuth, select a channel.

Once enabled, Yolodex will send real-time alerts when celebrity customers engage or purchase.

Using VIP Alerts

  • On each VIP order, use the alert to add gifts and a personal note immediately.

  • Route the order to your CX lead and update internal notes so fulfillment and support have context.

  • Optional: create a simple VIP playbook (gift SKUs, note templates, shipping upgrades) your team can follow when an alert fires.

Verify everything is live

  • Klaviyo shows Connected - Active on the Yolodex dashboard.

  • A Celebrity Analysis preview completed with visible counts.

  • Billing is marked complete and a Warning Threshold is set.

  • At least one notification channel is enabled and tested.

Troubleshooting

  • Not seeing the Klaviyo Allow screen: ensure you are logged into the correct Klaviyo account with integration permissions.

  • No alerts after setup: confirm billing is completed and Slack/Discord OAuth finished with a valid channel selected; verify email recipients.

  • Profiles not enriching: check that the Klaviyo connection is still Active; reauthorize from Manage if needed.
